Hello boat members,

We’re excited that the boat pier is in the water and slips are starting to be installed.

Please be sure to inform the party installing your lift that the lift can’t be installed in a way where part of the overhead lift is over the pier walkway.  If you use Sunrise Pier & Lift, they are already aware of this.

Also, if anyone also plans to place a boat in the self mooring area, reminder that the boat must be on a 4 point mooring and that it may not go in our harbor until we receive your completed Mooring Agreement (southshoreimprovementassoc@gmail.com).  No exceptions.

And we want to keep everything looking tidy this year.   You will find a piece of blue painter’s tape on the right side of the pier.  The front of your self mooring boat should be just behind where the blue tape is located and should be 40+ feet away from the wooden pier in line with the aluminum boat pier.  This location will provide 80 feet of space for boats to manuever between the aluminum pier and self mooring area.

Thanks for your cooperation.  Reach out if you have any questions.  Happy Boating Season 🙂
